COURSE DESCRIPTION

Jakarta Musculoskeletal Focused Course (JakMus FC) is an initiative by the Division of MSK Imaging, Department of Radiology FKUI Jakarta to provide a dedicated training program in MSK imaging for Indonesian radiologists. The course is established as a response to the demand of general radiologists in dealing with daily MSK radiology cases with updated knowledge and skillset.

Essentials in MSK Ultrasound is another program by JakMus FC, design specifically for general radiologist to train their skill in MSK ultrasound as beginners. Therefore, methods of training will be delivered as practical and as easy as possible, focusing on probe handling and visualization of anatomical structures which are crucial in daily practice. Training can also be customized individually to meet the needs and various backgrounds of participants. For this program, JakMus FC is in collaboration with the Indonesian Society of Radiology Jakarta Chapter (PDSRI Jaya) to target mainly general radiologists working in Jakarta and its surrounding region.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

After attending this course, participants should be able to perform simple MSK ultrasound procedure of the upper & lower extremity, especially for the crucial structures, thus considered essential in daily radiology practice.
